The structure of your Video Sales Letter (VSL)
- Good news! You already wrote your video script.
  - Your VSL is just your landing page in a simple presentation form.
  - People consume information in different ways - so you want to provide multiple options:
    - Text
    - Audio
    - Video
- The key here is to present it like you would show it to one person. (That’s how your prospect will be watching it.)
How to create it
- There are multiple ways you could create your VSL:
  - Simple phone selfie video
  - Slide presentation with split camera
  - Slides only (not ideal)
  - Professional Animated Explainer
- All of these VSL styles will work but the more production effort you put into it, the more quickly it will hold your prospects' attention.
  - A phone selfie is excellent because it comes across as natural and is the easiest to produce.
  - A slide presentation with a webcam is best because you can simultaneously break down information on the screen and show your face.
    - It requires more effort to produce but holds your prospects' attention longer.
  - You can do just a slide presentation, but you’re missing out on the most significant benefit: seeing a human face.
  - Lastly - an animated explainer video can be one of the most engaging, but it doesn’t show anyone at your company, and it costs the most to produce.
Common Objections:
- I don’t want to be on video
  - The slide-only presentation still works, just not as well.
- I have a sales team - who should record the video?
  - Use whoever is the best on video & just make sure you mention that “the spokesperson OR someone from the team” will be speaking with them - if they need to book a call.
- I don’t have any video equipment.
  - You don’t need any. You can use your computer, webcam, or smartphone as a webcam.
- What software do I use to edit?
  - We’ll include some options below.
    - There are free and paid options.
